ABOUT US

The mission of the BDC is to encourage development, combat community deterioration, lessen the burdens of government, provide increased employment and increase the tax base within the Town of Brunswick.

The BDC works with Brunswick-based businesses to provide loans, grants, and business assistance services.

History
Created in 1995, BDC was originally a division of the Town of Brunswick. In 2013, the Board of Directors determined that the organization should move towards increased independence for fundraising potential and community visibility. In 2017, the BDC obtained its 501(c)(3) non-profit status.
